Notably, the new strategy places a strong emphasis on the Tech sector and Artificial Intelligence. The government will allocate 55 million DKK to a strategic Artificial Intelligence initiative. The aim of the strategic AI initiative is to set a strategic direction and articulate a vision for how Denmark as society, intends to leverage artificial intelligence.
Additionally, a significant allocation of 17 million DKK has been announced towards a “Regulatory Sandbox” for Artificial Intelligence. The primary intent behind this initiative is to strengthen the support system for companies and authorities, offering practical guidance on the regulation and utilization of Artificial Intelligence solutions.
Foreign investors can benefit from the strategic initiatives within the field of AI, as the framework for a responsible use of the technology puts Denmark at the forefront in this area. With the regulatory sandbox there is an opportunity to tap into a close collaboration with public authorities to test and develop AI solutions that can be utilized internationally.
